can't add family members to family subscription

can't add family members to family subscription

Just upgraded to family plan for me+one person, but when i click  'manage your spotify family'  button on my account page, I get redirected to another page that has a salmon colored banner saying "It appears this account does not have an associated family plan."

 

i stumbled across another page in my acct info that said my account would be billed the new family plan rate on dec 15th.

Do i have to wait until my card gets billed and the new family plan rate posted to my acct before i can invite family members?

Hey @swparis85 and welcome to the community!

It seems you still had some days of premium left so the Family plan charging just starts on 15th. I'm sorry to tell you that you can't add/remove members after you set up the plan, but maybe the support can do it for you. So I suggest reaching out to the official support team by using this contact form: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/.

If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

Someone from Spotify please help! I upgraded to Premium +1 to add my daughter. Her account should have been activated weeks ago but it is still not working. On my end, I cannot even play songs online. 😞  😞   😞 

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchase? In it, it shows your Spotify username:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout, and be sure to use it to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

 

Each family member has to have a separate username and password.
