can't log in with facebook

I just got a new macbook and wanted to install spotify. It worked (like the app downloaded and opened and everything), but when I click log in with facebook, it opens up a tab on chrome that says "logging in to spotify..." That does nothing. The tab just closes and I'm still not logged in on the app. Does anyone have a solution?

Is your app still misbehaving? Try logging in using the web player here. Does the same thing happen?
