can't log in

can't log in

I tapped on the Spotify app to open it & found I had somehow been logged out ? no big deal. so I entered my info to log back in and it doesn't let me. after many attempts I just decided to reset my password. I then tried to log in again and it still won't let me. finally I decided to make a new account accept I can't because my email is already being used ?! **bleep** Spotify. I need some help.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

I am having the exact same problem with both mine and my partners accounts. I do not want to delete and try reinstall the app in attempt to fix the login problem as I do no want to lose my downloaded playlists. Can you please advise and fix why we can no longer login?
