Hi @user-removed, welcome to the community!
Here’s a guide to help you find out what's going on:
TIP: It’s possible to create more than 1 account with Spotify, with different saved music, playlists, and subscription levels on each (for example if you sign up twice with 2 different email addresses). We recommend covering all of these steps to find all possible accounts.
Note: If you find a Premium account that you’re not using, you can follow these steps to cancel.
To check for an account
- Use different internet browsers to try logging in with any and all usernames/passwords you may have used to create an account, or that you regularly use elsewhere.
- If you use Facebook, you might have created an account with us through that. Try using the LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK button.
- Enter all email addresses you use into our password reset form (you must be logged out). If an account exists, you’ll receive an email with further details.
- Check your bank statements, as you might have purchased Premium. If you find any charges from Spotify, check your email inbox and spam folders for the receipt which will include your account details.
Note: If you find more than one charge from Spotify per month, you may have more than one Premium account. You can follow these steps to cancel.
- Check your device memory. This will show all Spotify accounts you’ve ever logged in to on the device. See the steps below:
Mac:
- Open Finder.
- Click Go > Library in the menu bar. (You may need to hold the Alt key if Library isn't visible.)
- Open Application Support.
- Open Spotify.
- Open Users. Send us the names of all the folders in Users.
Windows:
- Click Start.
- Click Computer/My Computer.
- Open OS (C:).
- Open Users.
- Open your computer's username.
- Open App Data. If you can't find App Data, open your start menu and select Run. Then type in %appdata%/local/spotify/users and press enter.
- Open Local.
- Open Spotify.
- Open Users. All usernames that you've logged into on this device will show here.
Let me know if this helps!
