cannot redeem spotfiy gift card

hi my name is tommy i've baught a spotify gift card today and everytime i try to redeem the code it says "Unfortunately this Premium code does not seem to be valid. Try again or contact customer service." can anyone help me with this issue ?

Did you ordered a gift card online or at a local shop?

If you ordered it at a local shop, then it might be that it's not yet activated. I'd recommend to return to the local shop and ask them to activate the gift card for you.

i bought it at a local target retailer today and it says on the receipt it was activated so i don't know if its the card it self or my account or the spotify service. is there any other solution that would work?

spotify still hasn't contacted me and i still can't redeem my card i've google searched to find an answer but still no results. any solutions?

I am having exactly the same trouble twice with cards from Tesco - hoping to get money back as spotify has been no help at all. Could be a bad batch of cards ???

I think so. I found an obscure note which said you can't redeem a voucher while on a discount. I am waiting to see what happens on the 17th.

It might be worth checking your subscription status to see if you're currently on any offers or discounts.
