cant change to the email adress i want (even if i deactivated the account mail), is there a solution

Hey, i have deactivated the other email that i want to change, ive waited for 7 days to ensure it got deleted from spotify servers, but whenever i want to change its still saying "the account is already taken"

Hey there @wwwwww2,

The time it can take usually is around 7 days however this can be up to 30 days before your old account is permanently deleted. So in turn you'll need to allow 14 days usually and then you'll be able to register your email address for a new account so I'd recommend staying tuned right now and you should be able to get this sorted soon.

Hey, update here, so i got mail about the account have completely got deleted just some days after my post, and now it finally worked! Thanks for your answer and help 🙂
