cant join a family plan issue please help

So i recently have been invited to a family plan and i have premium which cancels in like 3 days i clicked redeem code and it told me i couldnt join it because i already have an account

Hello @mflowersmike, welcome to the Spotify Community!

In order to join a Family plan you must be on a Free plan, if your Premium ends in 3 days you must wait 3 days to join the Family plan. You must cancel your current Premium subscription because if you don't do that, the subscription will renew.
