My Question or Issue

I had Spotify Premium while I was living in Switzerland. Now I moved out from Switzerland and live in South Africa. I could not afford Spotify Premium so I am now on Spotify Free.

When I want to change the country in the settings, i cannot scroll down. My only choice is Switzerland eventhough I am currently located in South Africa. My account is logged with Facebook, therefore I changed my country on Facebook aswell but it did not help.

Can someone help me please? I do not want to loose my playlists!

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

 

We'd recommend trying the steps below once more, this time in an incognito or private window in your browser:

  1. In the incognito window, log in to your account page
  2. Click EDIT PROFILE
  3. Scroll down to Country and select your new country from the dropdown list.
  4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

If you're still having troubles, we'd suggest trying these steps from a different internet connection.

It's in German, but you should be able to read it as you are from Switzerland.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. I am from the French part of Switzerland,
therefore I can unfortunately not understand the page.
I used a translator and it is the same page as in English of French
explaining what to do in general. As I explained, I do not have a list of
the countries when I want to change my country of residence. The only one
is Switzerland even though I do not live there anymore.

Hi Katerina,

 

Sorry for the late reply, I was very busy. I tried from different browsers (I only have internet and Chrome for now) as well as from a computer from Switzerland but it remains the same. I travelled to Switzerland in the meantime, so I will try your suggestion when I will be back home to South Africa and let you know 🙂

Back in the country and it did work with the private navigation ! Thank you a lot 😄
