changing subscription type

I am wanting to cancel my current subscription and start a family one. Will the playlists i made be deleted or will i still be able to follow them from my new account?

Howdy!
If you cancel your Premium subscription and start a Family for Spotify subscription on the same account, you will keep everything that you have on your account. If you create a new account, you will only be able to follow the playlists that you have on the account you're going to cancel the Spotify Premium subscription on.
