deleted songs on spotify

Hi,

Like many spotify users I put all of my music into my own spotify playlists.
Now I would like to make this as a replacement for all my mp3 files on my computer, so I only have my spotify account. (and delete all my mp3 files)

But what happens when spotify deletes a song, artist or playlist? Do we now it or will the song just dissapear from our own personal playlist? 

I don't want to loose any titles or names of songs, but I don't know how spotify works here?

Hi @kim91, thanks for writing!

There's a fix for this, so you'll always have control on the songs you have.

In your desktop app, click on the arrow on the upper right corner just beside your username and go to Settings. The scroll down to Display Options and you'll see "Show

unavailable songs in playlists". Toggle it on. 

This way, even if a song becomes unavailable you'll see it greyed out.
