different history on desktop and IOS devices

Hey,

I'm listening to Spotify on my desktop PC and my iPhone. Same premium account. When switching devices, I don't see the tracks i played on my second device. Things I play on my iPhone don't show on the desktop and vice versa. Did I miss some setting or is this a common issue?
