facebook doesn't connect?

I would like to use my facebook name as my username on spotify, but I can't connect my facebook account to my spotify account. I went to settings, "connect to facebook", put in the details, and saw that the account came up on facebook as a connected app. However on spotify, the "connec to facebook" button is still there and my username has not updated. This was also more than 24 hours ago, so I think it's either a misunderstanding of what is supposed to happen on my end or something wrong with the function...

It can take up to 48 hours before all changes effect. If it doesn't work, could you try to link using a different device?

Hello Guido,

Unfortunately this didn't work. I get a notification saying I have previously signed into spotify using this account already, which makes me think the accounts are already connected.

I still have the option to connect my accounta after having tried again, and my username is still my spotify username from before.
