family premium

I want to get a family premium subscription, but i can only pay with ideal. it's no problem for me to pay forward 3-6 months. could someone explain how i could sign up?

Unfortunately it's no longer possible to pay for Premium for Family via iDeal, as it's no longer a recurring payment method. Only recurring payment methods can be used for a Premium for Family subscription.

@maxim thank  you for the quick reply. the only method i can use is ideal.. why is it  available for just a normal account and not for family? is there a possible way for me to get family premium?

Spotify allows users to use a non-recurring payment method for Premium so you are able to use iDeal for that. Until December 2016 it was possible to use iDeal as a recurring payment method but it's been turned into a PAYG (pay-as-you-go) payment method so it's no longer recurring.

The only way for you to get Premium for Family is using one of the other available payment methods.

I recently used a non recurring payment method to subscribe to the family plan, firsly prepay for a personal plan for an specific time frame (ie. 6 months) then subscribe to the family plan using a credit/debit card with no funds. In this example you will receive a 4 month prepaid family plan.

can i just look for a card with no funds on internet, or do i have to acutally have one? and could someone tell me if this really does work?

What payment method are you trying to use now? I'm having trouble understanding what exactly you mean by that.

i am trying to use Ideal, because of the reason that i do not have a creditcard. my question to you is, is your method legal? and could i just search for a random credit card number with no funds on the internet so i can use your method?

Oh no, of course not, that would be credit card fraud. You have to use one of your own payment methods of course. If you don't have a credit card, get one (in the legal way).

bu that's kind of what the problem is, i just want to subscribe to a family subscription but i do not have a creditcard, which is normal in the netherlands because everyone does use IDeal here.. guess thats no spotify for me then!

you don't need to commit "fraud" I guess in your country exist something called prepaid debit cards (visa or mastercard ). Some supermarkets use to sell them
