fraudulent account set up

fraudulent account set up

Hi there, 

 

We seem to have had a spotify account setup (and paid for) via a website called 'boku' using one of our company phones. Boku have given us the following details, but we are trying to find out who has (potentially fraudulently) set up the account: 

 

Consumer ID: 7711430

Subscription started: May 22nd

Phone number: 07966 784775

 

The phone contract has now been cancelled in any case, so no further payments will be taken, but this subscription was started without our knowledge and we'd like to find out who started it. 

  

Please can you tell me which account and/or email address this subscription is associated with?

Please bear in mind that the Community is not an official Spotify support service. It's a place where we all help each other, whether we work for Spotify or not.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Thanks - you'll have to forgive my ignorance. Perhaps if spotify had a more easily accessible 'official support service' I wouldn't have resorted to this avenue. As far as i can tell there is nowhere to ask a question without logging in to an account; whereas my question is specifically about an account that we do not have a login for because it seems to have been opened fraudulently. I have had to ask a question via my personal account (now via the contact form which I managed to find but have had no response yet) even though the problem has nothing to do with my personal account.
