My Question or Issue

 as in the tittle my friend has forgotten his username and email. I've looked and found the string of letters and numbers that seem to be his unique username in cashe but that didn't seem to allow him to log in, is there any way for him to get his account back

I would contact spotify here, where you can tell them your friend's situation and they can recover the account username and password.

maybe try asking if he remembers the names to any of his spotify playlists and search them which should take you to his account, giving him his username.
