friend's feed disappeared

My friend's activity disappeared from my feed later today. I tried everything from restrarting the app, the laptop, uninstalling/reinstalling but nothing worked. My friend's activity was there a few hours ago but that's the only one that vanished and I only follow a few folks. I also tried to unfollow/refollow. I'm pretty sure something's up with spotify's system.

I tried looking into seeing if anyone else had this problem in the past and I found a few people who had. It looked like many of them tried reinstalling and it worked out, but others had email Spotify Help directly.
