gift card not working

gift card not working

Just purchased a card for a month of spotify premium but when I try to redeem the code I get a message saying 'oops somthing went wrong please try again'   I tried multiple times using the correct code behind the sticker and my store reciect says card activated,  any ideas, Can i recieve my money back if I get no joy

Have you tried using a different browser? 

Sometimes it can be a bit tempermental sometimes!

I've got the same problem, tried FF, Chrome and IE, to no avail. The card was purchased in the Netherlands, if that helps.

After the countdown expired and I restarted Spotify, it shows me "0 Minutes", but songs playing anyways (without any ads), so the code might have been accepted nonetheless. We'll see.

I got the same thing right now... maybe there's a problem at spotify?

i've got the same problem! 

tried another  browser and now tried again a few hours later , still same problem , is there a current  issue,

I've got the same problem. Got 2 gift cards for 10€ for my b'day. Baught by the Albert Heijn. Tryed to redeem it on my phone and on Mozilla Firefox. None of them worked. Hope they're going to fix this fast

Can you all try again today? I'm not aware of any issues that would have caused this on our end, so confirmation either way would be appreciated.

Hi.

 

I bought thee three month gift cards for Unlimited at a vending machine in Svedala, Sweden, at a ICA. I've tried all three codes at severeal different occasions, but get the "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area"-message each time. Have tried in IE and Chrome. I've tried to redeem them to this newly opened account, to which I haven't subscribed to Unlimited or Premium before.

Gift card will not work I am very flustered. Keeps saying it's invalid. Hard to get help from Spotify.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to help you get that redeemed 😉 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
