how can I change my country settings?

Hi, can anybody tell me how to change to country settings in spotify free? I have just moved to France but it's impossible to change the country. Spotify tells me to change my country setting via facebook profile but when I do that nothing is happening in spotify. It's really annoying because spotify doesn't work anymore. Is there a solution or do I have to create a new account? Thanks for any help!
