Well I managed to cancel my Premium subscription. Here's how.

I cancelled my debit card. (I called my bank, said I lost it, getting a new one in the mail)

Spotify sent me emails saying my automatic payment failed and asked me to updated my payment method. I logged in and was able to finally cancel. (So once they no longer have a valid payment method on file I guess you can cancel)

Why is it easy to sign up for Premium and pay them but impossible to cancel ?

It's a disgusting practice. I tried for days to just cancel my subscription but the cancellation page would not open up. I tried and tried and tried.

Got sick of trying. I tried the Premium service and just didn't like it. I also wanted to save my hard earned money. I was not going to pay for something I don't want.

Apple music here I come (but first I will make sure I can cancel it easily.
