i can't get a spotify login. Theaccount insists that i use Facebook

Spotify never let me set up a Spotify login as far as i can tell.  insists that I login via Facebook. I dont want to do that

You must use Facebook. Non-FB logins are for old users only.

Incredibly shortsighted. There are many of us who will never use facebook but are still music lovers. Fortunately I am an old subscriber with a non-FB log in. But now my daughter wants an account I cannot subscribe for her - Spotfiy is effectively declining to take my money. Great business model guys!
