i have forgotten my password and cant reset it

I have forgotten my password to my spotify account.

When selecting 'Forgotten your password?' at sign in it directs me to my edit profile page where I can change my password but I can not do this without knowing my current password - the one I have forgotten!!

How do I reset my password, the ones I have forgotten?!?!?!?!?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can reset it for you.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

how the **bleep** do i reset my password if i first have to know my forgotten password. this is the most frustrating catch 22 it has been my misfortune to encounter in a long time. what a way to run a railroad!!
