If you are experiencing a problem with spotify app on device you sould first carry out a 'clean uninstall', this requires you to reboot your device before reinstalling spotify app again.

THAT MEANS YOU TURN YOUR DEVICE COMPLETLY OFF AND THEN REBOOT FROM SCRATCH.

Unintalling and reinstalling in one go without rebooting inbetween will not work.
