kill account link to facebook and create a new one with the same mail

Hi,

I made a mistake by linking my facebook account to my spotify account.

I would like to kill this link and be able to connect with my email.

Is it possible and how ?

Welcome to Spotify Community!

Is your account created with Facebook?

If yes, you can log in with your Facebook e-mail and password.

If you linked it with Facebook after you created your account, you still should be able to log in with your username/e-mail password and you can unlink your account from the Social tab in the Desktop client under Preferences ( Edit -> Preferences for Windows and Spotify-> Preferences for OSX )

In deed i create my account with facebook but now I want to be "free" from facebook link. So what can i do to be able to log with my email and password but not the one from facebook ?

Hey @lemmings15,

You have to create a new account and then send a contact form request to have your old playlists and subscriptions transferred. : )

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible
