My Question or Issue

Hello.

I subscribed Spotify Premium yesterday and had 3 months for free. In Feb 6th 2020 I would be charged for the plan.

Today I changed my future subscription to Family Premium and lost 1 month of the trial period. I will be charged in January instead of February. I will be charged in Jan 6th 2020.

Howcome I lost one month of trial period? How can I recover it?

That's a thing with the Premium Family subscription. You can check this link: https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/premium-family/

Check the part where it says "How does the billing work?"
Quote: If you’re managing a Family plan, your new payment date will likely be a few days earlier than usual to cover the price difference between Individual and Family Premium.

I think that's the reason.

Hi LSMelo!

Sorry to hear you're having a problem! I can't say for sure, but I think that since you signed up, and then changed your subscription, that override the previous month. Does that make sense? I'm not sure if the month can be recovered. Hopefully someone else weighs in on this to give you more insight!
