moved to other country, now I cannot add my kids to my account

moved to other country, now I cannot add my kids to my account

14 years ago I moved from the Netherlands to Germany. I already had a spotify account registered to NL. Now, I updated to a premium account, and want to add my kids. However, Spotify complain that adding them under the German address creates a mismatch of addresses.

0I have not been able to correct this, walking through the steps of setting up a payment method valid for the country (Germany / new). This is starting to become a real pain, can someone point me in the rigth direction ?

Hey there,

 

Thanks for reaching out.

 

If your account's country setting is currently set to the Netherlands, you'll need to update your payment method to one that's been issued in Germany:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Under Your plan, click UPDATE next to your payment method.
  3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region.

The changes will take effect from your next billing date.
