well im using the same email but, i cant even sign onto the old one as a free member to get my playlists.

The problem that I want to be able to access my account under the username "weetabix117" currently I have been forced to create a new account, and in the process losing all my playlists that I have created over the past year. also I am confused why the account has been "deactivated" seeing as the only thing that should have changed is that the payment for premium membership has stoped, and I would assume that it would just be demoted to a free status. I know the account is still there because my friends can still see it, and my email gets updated when people subscribe.

Hello,

As your subscription was stopped via the bank, it is treated as potential fraud case. Most of the time, when the subscription is stopped via the bank, it would have been done so because the customer is unfamiliar with the subscription and requests a chargeback.

We take matters like this very seriously, and when we receive a request like this from the bank, we disable the account.

I have added a playlist of your starred tracks to the end of your current playlists. It should be called "starredxyz".

The same exact thing happened to me! My mother who was paying for my spotify premium got a chargeback from the credit card company because forgot cancel after the 30 day trial. I got an email they disabled my account because of that. But now I can't get on to my account at all, not even to listen for free with commercials. All my music is on there and I don't know what to do! I made a new account (this one) through my email because my old one was through my facebook and it won't allow me to create another account through facebook, which I really need to do because a lot of the music I used to have I found through my facebook friends. Please help! My disabled account is 1230968066.

@flaboi420 - If your account has been disabled you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have the same problem now, i paid for one month. Found out it was a subscription. Account is disabled. Can it be set to free instead ? it is'nt about the music it's about the fact that i can't connect with facebook anymore and that i can't play it on my ps4 .

I got set to free when my phone subscription ended (had spotify in a package with my cellphone) why can't it just be set to free again
