new account to change username not working

 Hello,

I deleted my old account to create a new one with the same email to change the username, and the spotify desktop app is showing the deleted account name.

in the spotify website, on the top right it just says "profile", except when i go in the help page, then it shows the correct(new) username.

The problem is that in the desktop app i can create playlists, but if i click on them it shows an image with a guy sleeping on a skateboard and the message

"Error
Could not load this playlist."

on windows 10

Ok, turns out i can log in to the new account by using the username in the profile page (the one with random numbers and letters).

I guess after the recovery period for the old account ends, the email will be properly linked to the new one.
