o2 Czech Republic Spotify not linking up to my account

o2 Czech Republic Spotify not linking up to my account

I signed up for the o2 Czech Republic free premium for three months program but now the accounts appear to be de-linked and I'm stuck paying for premium but my account appears as "free" in the Spotify app. I have tried going through o2 CR (my mobile provider) but ever time I try and activate I get an error message. o2 CR consistently says the problem is on Spotify's end. How do I rectify this?

Hey @Janthomson14,

 

I'm sure that Spotify would love to be able to help you with your subscription issue, however as your Premium was set up through o2, they're managing your subscription rather than Spotify. This means, they'll be able to provide the best possible support for you, and they should be able to take a closer look at what's happening exactly.

I'm sorry that I can't be of more help this time, but please do continue to let me know how you get on.

Maxim, I've spent a long time on the phone with o2, they cannot help, and they keep insisting that the problem is with Spotify. Hence, me asking the question on here. I am sure this has happened in other countries with other promotions from other mobile providers. 

I'd recommend reaching out again to o2 so they can look into this. I've heard about this issue with other mobile providers before and it turned out that it was an issue on their end, not Spotify's.
