others can't find my spotify account

My Question or Issue

• asked my brother to follow me on spotify but when he clicks on my profile, it says unable to load.
• i sent him playlists off of my profile, they give the prompt unable to load as well or say it’s private or removed — which it’s not. he tried clicking others’ profiles and they worked, i tried sharing stuff with other people and it worked.
• his profile opened for me, but when i tried to follow it, it just kept removing me as a follower. like i’d press the button, it would go FOLLOW —> FOLLOWING (for a split second) —> FOLLOW again. help, what settings are messed up here?! it's like my account doesn't even exist for him!
• all of this was done with me on ipad, and him on laptop.

UPDATE: later i was able to follow him from my pc, he shows up in my friend activity and everything, but he still cannot see me as a follower. i opened spotify again today and it removed me from his followers. i can still re-follow him, he still can't see me.

It's possible that you've accidentally blocked your brother's profile. No worries though - you can unblock him by opening his profile and selecting Unblock from the three dots menu.
