I recently paid for premium services. In doing so I tried to sign up for my student rate Spotify was unable to verify thid. Instead of just sending me back to the beginning screen I scrolled back myself after entering my credit card info as I did again on the regular premium screen in doing this I was charged for the student rate as well as the premium rate I am very very unhappy with this an would like my money refunded from what I'm reading they say they add it to next month's payment um that should be up to me as its my money and should be my decision not Spotify. I feel slighted from this and am very unhappy.

Sorry to hear about this.

 

If you were unable to verify, the student rate that was charged is a temporary pending charge that should be cancelled within the next few days. 

 

If the charge does not clear within a few days,

 

I suggest you contact support so they can help you

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
