play 1 song n then goes blank

play 1 song n then goes blank

When updated, it will only play 1 song n then goes blank, I have to either skip to the next song or turn off ñ turn back on for it to play. Is anyone else having this problem and what can I do to solve the problem(s)?

First of all, could you let us know the following info:

 

  • Which version of Spotify are you using?
  • Which device are you having this trouble on?
  • Which Operating system are you using on this device?
  • Have you tried a quick reinstall of the app? Just follow these steps!

Let me know these details and how the reinstall helps. I'd love to get this issue sorted so you can enjoy your music continuously through the night and day 🙂

This problem occurs on Friday January 22, after updating. I'm using a
kyocera Android phone, it won't play on shuffle mode. I uninstalled ñ
reinstalled with the same results. So the only way I can play my music is
in none shuffle mode.

Next up, how many devices show when you head over to https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/?

We'd recommend removing these devices and performing another quick reinstall. This will refresh the account and the app fully. Just to note, you will need to resync any offline tracks again.
