I have changed countries and changed account to premium, yet my laptop says that I am still on free and when I play music it still plays adds

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

Can you let us know if you've already tried to log out and log back in to make sure that your subscription is synced with your device? 


If after that you still get the free service it's possible that you have more that one Spotify account and you're logging into one that was not updated to Premium. You can also check this page on how to find out if you have multiple Spotify accounts.

Hi

Sorry it did not seem to work. At least both devices are now showing I am
not on premium. Should I join premium again for Australia?

Thanks for your reply. 

 

We recommend that you check other emails in order to see if your Premium account is linked there. You can reset the password here (if there's an account, a link will be sent to the email's inbox you enter).

 

Lastly, if you still can't find your Premium account, get in contact with customer support here. They can locate it by searching with additional info.
