premium stopped

I payed for my spotify premium last friday. Now I wanted to change it to spotify family but did not want to pay 2 times a month, so I quit premium to start family after a month of use. But it changed inmediately to free user. So my question is do I pay in advance or afterwards.

When you cancelled your premium, it took effect immediately. You may want to contact support here to get some personalized support to get your premium back until it runs out naturally, at which point you can purchase the family plan. They should be able to help you switch over without it costing you more money than usual.
