"Could Not Buy Premium" message

"Could Not Buy Premium" message

Spotify seems to be a bit stuffed on my wife's iPhone.

 

I'd like to change to premium, but get the error:

"Unable to Purchase. This item is for an app that was purchased by a different Apple ID. To buy this item with this Apple ID, you must first purchase the app."

"Could Not Buy Premium. There were problems contacting with iTunes Store. Please try again"

 

She has recently changed her Apple ID. Do I have to delete the App (and all her playlists and data)?

Apps are usually linked to a specific Apple ID. If she created a new Apple ID then delete the app and then reinstall it.

 

Don't worry, playlists are stored on Spotify's server and won't be deleted.
