"Something went wrong. Try again or get help" message when trying to change method of payment.

"Something went wrong. Try again or get help" message when trying to change method of payment.

I am attempting to update my method of payment for my Spotify Premium Student account. I am sure that I am entering my card number correctly and have tried using both Safari and Chrome but after I enter my information and click update, I keep receiving a message that says "Something went wrong. Try again or get help." Any help on how to get around this and update my form of payment?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this. 
 

It's good you've checked if you experience the same across different browsers as such an error message might be a sign of an issue with your cache. In this case we'd also suggest you try updating your payment method again in a private/incognito window

 

In case you still experience the issue after performing this step, try logging in to your Spotify account on another device just to check if you'd observe the same. If it doesn't occur on a different device, we suggest making sure that your original device is up to speed with any software updates available.
