"Spotify User Notification" Pishing Email Received Today 20/04/2018

Hello everybody!

This is my first time I write here and probably I'm doing something wrong, but just trying to help.

I just received an email from: Spotify <*snip*> with "Spotify User Notification" title and a phishing button "Validate your membership".

First, I'd like to warn everybody, second I wanted to alert Spotify about this but I don't have any social network... So I tried from the website and this seemed to me the best solution.

Since this should be an idea, I suggest to Spotify to send an email to every member to alert them about phishing atteepts not coming from official channels.

If you've received an email claiming to be from a Spotify staff member, or from Spotify itself, check out this Spotify support article about suspicious emails: https://support.spotify.com/article/suspicious-email/ 🙂 Make sure that you don't click on any links or reply to that email!
