How do i reset whatever spotify has set as my preferences and build up the repertoire over again from scratch?

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Modifiable-Thumbs-up-down/idi-p/212314 There is a vote, open since 2012, Spotify doesn't plan on changing it any time soon...... WHY implement a system like this and no way to reset it, when voting makes the quality WAY WORSE!
