song sharing

Hi,

I am following a friend on spotify. When I clicked on his name in Spotify, I can see his recent activity. It says "X shared the song" then underneath I can see what song it is. Does it mean he shared the song with me? or that he shared the song with whomever on the planet?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

It normally means that they have shared a track on their Facebook or Twitter using the share menu from inside Spotify, rather than inboxing it to someone on Spotify specifically.
