spotify app wont recognize my premium account

i got spotify premium 2 days ago and have been using it on my computer okay but the app still wont recognize my premium account. ive tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times as well as logging out and back in, restarting my phone basically all of the suggestions ive seen on here and it makes no difference... i also dont have it hooked up to facebook and in the reciept from my upgrade the right account is listed so i really dont know whats wrong... please help this is getting really frustrating

Are you definitely logging in using your username and not your email address?

Im using an iphone 5c and yes ive been using my username

Which app are you having issues with? (android/iOS)
There are quite a few reports of Premium issues, myself and another Rock Star have escalated it as an issue to the Spotify guys to look into.
