spotify looks updated and is acting funny

I recently deleted my old spotify account and made a new one because I wanted to change my name (they were both free, not premium). Ever since I've made my new one the whole look is different. There are only three menu bars at the bottom that say 'your library' 'home' and 'search,' and there are usually more than that. I tried to go to my friend's account but it says what I'm trying to do is not compatible with my device, and it acts like I have premium (letting me choose songs and such), when I don't. It's super weird and I can't play entire albums without premium, but it's saying I have it and I just want the old version back. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.
