spotify tells me my email is in use

spotify tells me my email is in use

im trying to change my phone operator status, but i cant as the site tells me my email address is in use already. so i tried to reset the password to get the login details. my username was correct and a second profile does not exsist on my email. can anyone help me?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

It is most likely a duplicate account in the login system somewhere, if you drop the customer services team an email directly using the online contact form they should be able to remove the extra account for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
