subscribed but android app says :get premium

subscribed but android app says :get premium

So I've been using spotify premium for some time and my online account overview says I've got premium. On my phone however I can't use premium functions, all of my music is no longer available offline and I can only shuffle through stuff which is REALLY anoying when you've found something cool and would like to listen to it a second time.

HELP!

Normally this happens when a duplicate account exists, one with a spotify username / password and one with your facebook details.

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchase? In it, it shows your Spotify username:

Username/ID: xxxxxxx

Logout, and be sure to use it to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

It seems my premium status wasn't updated properly. I only have one account
(username&password) so a double account wasn't the issue. after updating
the payment method to the same settings as before, all of the sudden the
paypal payment was base and my premium functions worked. Unfortunately, I
was away from home and all my 'available offline' music didn't work
somehow. Couldn't figure that one out... 😞

You can login to the website to check the status of your subscription here:

and also check your receipts here:

With that info, you should contact customer support through this link:

https://support.spotify.com/contact-spotify-support/

They'll help you out. They take, at the most, 24-48 hrs to get back to you.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
