[support] Your country does not match the one set in your profile. BUT IT DOES

[support] Your country does not match the one set in your profile. BUT IT DOES

I am from the US, and have been logging in from here.

 

Ever since Spotify asked for my hometown details from facebook ie : set to India 

Ive been getting this error on the MAC client. 

You country does not match the one set in your profile. To continue use, update your profile ......

 

My profile is also set to USA and is obviously unchangable.

 

Please resolve this.  This is happeneing endlessly.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Best thing to do is to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will hopefully be able to get it fixed for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I did try that form.

and YES I got a confirmation mail to which I replied.

 

BTW can you tell me the exact error code number to the message I am getting ?

because when tried filling the first form, I chose account problems, instead of error code.
