trying to open a spotify account to add to family plan but currently out of the country

trying to open a spotify account to add to family plan but currently out of the country

My husband upgraded his Spotify premium account to a family account, and I set up a Spotify account to join with my husband on his family plan. Our home address is in the US, however we are currently out of the country. My account is showing my country as Italy and I can't figure out how to change it, and it will not let me join my husbands family plan because it says... We couldn't add you to Premium for Family as your account needs to be based in the same country as the owner of the Premium for Family subscription.Is there anything I can do to fix the issue? Thank you.

Hey @jenni_l_evans,

 

No unfortunately not. You have to wait until you're back at Home. From there, you should be able to join the Premium for Family plan with no issues.
