at the login page I see that I need a facebook account. I do not have a faceboek account, and don't want to have one. See below.

Please give the opportunity for simple login, WITHOUT fb **uh-oh**. sorry.

You can register to Spotify via German IP. However Spotify does not allow us to tell about it more here at community... They just do not like when users provide help to register via German IP proxy, because they want you register via Facebook.
