university radio station usage

Our campus radio station wants to use a Spotify subscription to broadcast music.  Do they need a special subscription to do that, or is it not legal to use Spotify in that way at all?

Spotify accounts are licenced for personal use. You could play it for a private party, but since this would be a public setting I don't think it is legal. If your university wanted to set up playlists that people could listen to with their own accounts, it would be for an organization or entity, so you would need a brand account.
