I tried to upgrade to premium from within the app but it doesn't show any option for the 30 day free trial and it says it will charge $12.99 a month as opposed to $9.99. Is there any way to solve this?

Hello, and welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Unfortunately Spotify can't charge 9.99 through the app as Apple takes 30% of that, plus, only a 7 day trial can be offered.

 

You wanna' save three bucks and get a 30 free trial, I hear? Just sign up for premium through spotify.com.
