user name tied to two different email accounts

user name tied to two different email accounts

As I've submitted 3 times a ticket to the support desk without a follow-up, I'm asking here for help...

Something funny happens after I've recently upgraded to a Premium Try-out.

Logging in via the web player shows successfully 'Premium'. Username A and email account tied to it: A'.

Using the same username + password on my desktop application & app [Mac/iPhone respectively] lead to a free account, yet with another email account tied to it: B'

I've tried a few times a clean install for the desktop including removing the folders from ~/Library/etc.

What might confuse the system is the following legacy of accounts I've created:

login -> email account tied to it:

1. A -> A' and B' [this is the funny and unclear part]

2. C -> A'
3. D -> D' [totally separated from the other usernames/email accounts]

Any suggestions why the web-application is successfully leading to a Premium account and the desktop/phone applications are not and could you provide a solution?

Yours sincererly,

Sander Mulder, the Netherlands

Can you log into your premium account using the web player then click on the settings icon at the bottom left, followed by the "View Account" button to go to your account overview page. Assuming it shows the premium subscription, what username does it show?

I need help also, I just upgraded to the Duo plan and it says both peoples emails are taken. Both emails link to my account.

Hey @smdfb,

Only one E-Mail should be able to be linked to the same account.

Maybe you've been trying to create a new account instead of logging in?
In case you do need further assistance, we'd ask you to leave a clear and detailed explanation of the issue occurring and we'll make sure to see what it's all about & get back to you 🙂
Thanks & cheers!
