Alright so I really want to buy Premium that way I can listen without ads and everything else but I was wondering:

If I have the app open on my iPhone, and my girlfriend logs in with my account on her iPhone (not using offline downloading mode) will it pause the music on my phone?

Same thing with my iMac, if I have music playing on there, and I try to listen to music on my phone, will it stop it on my computer?

This is really the only thing stopping me from paying right now.

Each Spotify account is for personal use.

 

Spotify works just like Netflix.

 

You can only stream music from one device at a time.

(unless the other device has playlists synced for offline use and currently has offline mode enabled)

 

If music starts playing from another device you will see a popup that streaming has paused because of use on another device.

 

Spotify is considering adding discounted family subscriptions -- go give it a kudo:
