Album Wallpaper Does not Dissapear - Even after closing App

Greetings,

The lockscreen wallpaper shows the album cover, even after I close the Spotify App. (When I do close the app, the album cover dissapears, but upon waking phone again, it returns.)

I have Nexus 5 Running latest version of Lollipop. (5.0.1.)

I have latest version of Spotify App. Just updated two days ago.

Is there a way to not have a persistant album wallpaer AFTER closing app?  (I know it is an android feature WHILE app is on, but it should NOT be showing album when APP IS CLOSED.)

Is there a fix that does not involve restarting the phone?

Does anyone else have this issue? Thank you!

Hmmm, you can Force Close the Spotify app. However that's a work-around. Please read the guide linked below for details on the most common issues and how to fix them.
